Welcome to our neighborhood website

Welcome to Morehead Hill, a historic residential neighborhood located just south of downtown Durham, North Carolina.

News:

It's time for the 2020 Morehead Hill Neighborhood Association Board of Directors election.  But first...

Nominations - Please Consider Joining the MHNA Board of Directors

Normally, we send appeals for nominations during the summer and then vote in October. This is not a normal time. We've been a bit overwhelmed by current events and did not get around to appealing for nominations until now.

The MHNA board is a team of volunteers elected annually by MHNA members. Current board members may seek re-election. The election method this year will be using an online form, which we will post later this month. First, we seek nominations for new volunteers during the next two weeks.
Please submit your nominations by midnight, Tuesday, October 20, 2020

Residents of Morehead Hill are asked to please consider serving on the Neighborhood Association’s Board of Directors. This involves a commitment to attend board meetings, which for the time being are conducted via remote online Zoom conference approximately once a month. So now it's easier than ever to get involved - you don't even need to leave your house!

Nominees, and anyone who votes in our election, need to be current members of the MHNA, so this is a good time to join or renew your membership - click here for details.

You are invited to nominate yourself and/or others to any of the board positions, which are:

President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, INC delegate, PAC3 delegate, QoL delegate, and up to four At-Large members.

More information about these positions is provided on the online nomination page. Your neighborhood association needs you! Please consider volunteering to serve on our Board of Directors. Thank you!
