Street light repair
Street light repair is done by Duke Energy using an online reporting system at this web site.

If there is a hazardous condition such as a wire hanging low or lying on the ground, please call Duke Energy immediately at 800.POWERON (800.769.3766).

In addition to our own Orchard Park, home of our community garden, we have the nearby Forest Hills Park, which has a fine public pool.

Morehead Hill was named a National Historic District in 1985 and is also a Local Historic District (expanded in 2004). A map of the Morehead Hill Local Historic District is provided on the About the Neighborhood page.  

For more information, refer to the Morehead Hill Historic District Preservation Plan of March 2001 (it's a large .PDF file).  An update is expected in 2015.
